Deployment Ramp
If your account has not reached 50% of your monthly Ad Grant credit by day 90 from the day your ads go live, your management fee is credited each bill until it does. What we need from you: campaign approvals returned within five business days, and the site pages we flag for compliance fixed or authorized for us to fix.

What Google checks before it approves a center

Google for Nonprofits checks your tax status through its validation partner, Goodstack, and then reviews the website you enter on the application. Google makes the final call.

  • Your center's tax status: Google asks for an organization registered with the IRS as exempt under Section 501(c)(3), or a group-exempt member tied to one. Its rules say a fiscally sponsored group needs a 501(c)(3) of its own, so a center still operating under another charity's status has to get separate status before it applies.
  • A sign-in that stays: the Ad Grants account shares your Google for Nonprofits username. Use a work address the center controls, and the account stays put when a director moves on.
  • A website you control: Google wants the site on a domain your organization owns, served over HTTPS on every page, with the mission and services described in your words. Our Ad Grant eligibility guide lists each website rule and walks through the application.

What the credit covers

The Grant is ad credit, not cash, and Google spends it on your search ads up to a daily limit.

Covered

  • Text ads on Google Search, up to $10,000 a month, with Google paying for each click.
  • Up to $329 a day, which is the same $10,000 limit stated per day.
  • Ads that send people to the service and program pages on your own website.

Not covered

  • A spot above paid ads. Grant ads show alone or below them.
  • Credit left over at the end of a month. Google says unused funds don't roll over.
  • A set amount of spend. Google calls the $10,000 a limit, not a guarantee.
  • Paid ads, which run in a second account on your center's own budget.

How it works beside paid Search

Some of the searches that matter most to a center barely show on a Grant. Paid Search beside the Grant reaches them, with as many campaigns as the mission needs.

When other advertisers pay to show on a search, your Grant ad sits under theirs and can't reach the spots above. Paid Search can.

We run the two as separate accounts, both in your organization's name. The paid one spends your center's budget, and that money stays apart from our fee.

Each account gets one job and one line in your report. We never add those lines together, because a Grant click spends donated credit while a paid click spends your money. Our benchmarks for pregnancy centers show how clicks split between the two at the centers we serve.

You can start on the Grant alone and add paid Search later. Our pregnancy center page lays out the Grant + Search plan, and our nonprofit Google Ads guide helps a board judge each program on its job.

Google rules that catch centers

Google holds a pregnancy center's Grant to the same program rules as any other nonprofit's. A few of them need extra care at a center.

  • A 5% click rate each month: Google measures it across the whole account, and its policy says an account below that mark two months in a row can be temporarily deactivated. If that happens, our guide to a suspended Grant walks you through the fix.
  • Certification on some ads: some center ads need Google's certification before they can run. Google then adds a line under those ads about the services you provide, and our pregnancy center marketing guide explains how it works.
  • No medicine names: Google lets only certified advertisers bid on keywords with prescription drug terms. We keep medicine names out of every keyword and ad we write for you.
  • Tracking that counts real contacts: the program requires conversion tracking that records at least one real conversion a month, such as a call or a form. On the pages we build, a form sends each lead to the inbox you name, and Google receives no typed message.
  • The program survey: Google emails it to the address on the account and can deactivate an account that never answers. Keep that address on an inbox someone reads.

How we set up your account

Your Grant moves through a set path, and we build your tracking and campaigns before the first ad runs.

  1. Today

    Book a call

Book a call with Miguel. He asks whether you already have a Grant and which organization holds your 501(c)(3). Then he looks at your website and names one plan and one price.

  2. Access

We get into your ad account

The setup gets us into the ad account, even when nobody on your team can log in anymore.

  3. Tracking

    Calls and forms come first

We count calls and forms before anything runs. On a center's account, our standard also keeps call recording, ad personalization, Google Signals and ads that follow visitors turned off.

  4. Campaigns

    We build your campaigns

Each service gets ads that point to the page for that service. Keywords run on broad match with two words or more, and campaigns bid for conversions instead of clicks.

  5. Go live

    The ads go live

Your fee starts the day the ads go live. The Compliance Watch: every Grant ad checked for disapprovals every hour, around the clock.

  6. Every month

    You get one report

Your report shows how much credit we put to work, the click rate, and the calls and forms each account brought in.

What our management costs

You pay half of the Grant money we put to work for you each bill, and never more than $750. The Grant setup is a one-time $1,500.

If we put $1,000 of your Grant to work, you pay $500. We bill every 4 weeks, and billing starts the day your Grant ads go live.

Google decides how much of the Grant your searches can use. We work to put as much of it to work as we can, and you only pay for what we use. We ran 36 Grant accounts for all of September 2026, pregnancy centers included, and they put an average of 80.9% of their credit to work. For context, published estimates put the average Grant account near 3% of its credit.

If your Grant account is suspended or throttled for a compliance cause we monitor, we work at no fee from the day it happens until the day it is reinstated and back at full daily deployment.

Grant + Search adds paid Search for $750 every 4 weeks, with a separate $1,997 build, and a combined bill comes to at most $1,500. We manage Google Ads for 25 pregnancy resource centers, and we're one of six listed PLMEC member vendors. Our pricing page lists each plan, and our Google Ad Grants page covers how we run the Grant for any kind of nonprofit.

Questions

Can a pregnancy center get a Google Ad Grant?

Yes, when you hold 501(c)(3) status of your own and pass Google for Nonprofits' check. Google also reviews your website, and it makes the final call.

Does a pregnancy center need paid Search too?

The Grant can't reach every search. A Grant ad never shows above a paid one, so paid Search reaches the spots a Grant can't. You don't need both on day one.

What does it cost our center?

Google pays for the Grant's ads, up to $10,000 a month. You only pay us half of what we put to work, never more than $750 a bill, plus a one-time $1,500 setup.

Does unused credit carry over to the next month?

No. Google says the funds don't roll over, so credit you don't use in a month is gone. We read your credit use each month.

Who owns the account?

You do. The Ad Grants account shares your Google for Nonprofits username, and if we ever part ways, you keep the account and the call data.
