What is a Google Grant?
A Google Grant is a donation program that gives free access to the Google Ads platform for up to $10,000 a month. This is only eligible for 501(c)(3) nonprofits and/or charities.
With over 50,000 searches happening on Google every second (that's 3.5 billion searches every day) this is a huge opportunity for 501(c)(3) nonprofits.
It's important to remember though that Google isn't just cutting a $10,000 check to your nonprofit. It is simply access to their advertising platform which you can spend up to $10,000 in every month after building out your account's settings, campaigns, ad groups, keywords, and ads.
The grant holder is also required to install a snippet of code onto their website so that the account is able to track conversions from the advertising.
(of course this is all assuming you want to manage the account yourself)
What Are the Requirements?
There are only 3 types of nonprofit and/or charity that are NOT allowed into the Google Grant program:

Directly government affiliated (government funding is fine as long as you aren't government run)

Hospitals (a nonprofit that is healthcare related should have full eligibility)

Universities (other education related nonprofits are good to go)
